Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is My Jacket Insured While It's With You?

Goods are covered by a private insurance policy that is independent of the carrier's coverage while in transit and our hands. Each shipment is covered by a $100 insurance policy.

Q. Can You Restore Vintage and Custom-Made Jackets?

Yes, we can restore and clean these clothing items. Please bear in mind that because of the delicate nature of these items, service time may be extended. When we receive them, we will be able to give you an estimate of how long it will take.

Q. Can I Send You A Picture of the Leather Jacket for an Estimate?

Yes, you can. If you send a picture of your clothing item to the number on our website, we’ll gladly send you an estimate of the service.

Q. Is Recoloring Part of the Package?

Our cleaning service includes recoloring. Our service also includes restoring your leather jacket to its condition. Refinishing isn't possible on every type of leather. Multi-colored leather usually takes longer and costs more.

Q. How Can I Pay?

You can complete all your transactions on our website. We accept all major credit cards, as well as Google Pay, Paypal, Apple Pay, and other payment methods. We won’t send out our mailer kits if we don’t see evidence of prepayment.

Q. Where Can I See Your Prices?

All our general prices are on our order services page. These prices give you an idea of what each service costs.

Q. How Long Will The Service Take?

It usually takes between 10 and 14 business days to complete the service once we receive the jacket. The service time begins when we receive the item and our cleaning service takes 10 to 14 days. Additional service time is usually needed for restorations, repairs, and alterations.

Q. Do You Fix Tears?

Leather jacket tears can be repaired. We accomplish this by applying a bigger-than-the-tear patch to the reverse of the jacket. This strengthens the area. The ripped pieces are then glued to the new patch. The tear's outline will still be visible, so we try to match the color as closely as possible in all tear repairs.

Q. Do You Replace Panels?

In some cases, we can replace your leather jacket's entire panel. Finding leather that matches the grain pattern of the jacket is the most difficult aspect of this operation. We use our refinishing procedure to match the color.

Q. Can You Change My Jacket’s Zipper to a Larger Size?

The most common zipper is the #5, followed by the #7, #8, and #10. We can replace the zipper with a thicker gauge, but we recommend just going up one size.
