Our Services

Our Process for Alterations in Kansas City

We don’t only clean your clothes, though. Arrow provides a variety of additional services to support, repair, restore, and preserve your wardrobe.

Consultation

Customers meet with one of our expert seamstresses to discuss their alteration needs and preferences.

Measurement

Your seamstress will take precise measurements of your body or the garment to be altered, ensuring the fit meets your needs and is as flattering as possible. From there, our seamstresses use pins & other marking tools to indicate where adjustments need to be made.

Initial Alterations

Using the measurements taken during your consultation, your seamstress will begin to make initial adjustments to your garment. All alterations made during this stage will be reversible if you are not satisfied during your fitting.

Fitting & Final Alterations

Once the initial alterations have been made, the customer tries on the garment to ensure that it fits properly and that any further adjustments can be made.  Based on the fitting, the seamstress makes any final adjustments needed to ensure a perfect fit.

Finishing & Pickup

The garment is pressed and finished to ensure a polished look. The garment is ready for the customer to pick up and wear with confidence. Arrow Fabricare prioritizes customer satisfaction and attention to detail throughout the alterations process. That's why we only use the highest-quality materials and expert techniques to ensure a superior finished product.

Alteration FAQs

How long it takes to tailor your garments will depend on your clothes’ needs and availability. Most garments will take between 2-3 weeks from the date of shipping to be completed.

Because it is a meticulous hand-done technique, reweaving is not inexpensive. It is a good alternative, however, to discarding a favorite suit or sweater in the event of damage. Before we begin any work, you will receive an estimate for your approval after we receive your garment.
